UC Track Classic

Hello nighthawk families and fans,

Update!

Release time for school on Wednesday has been updated! Girls will be released at 1:10pm and the boys will be released at 2:00pm. The girls bus will leave at 1:40pm.

Saturday we took a limited team to the UC Track Classic, at University City High School. This is the first time we have attended the meet and our Nighthawks made a splash. We had stand out performances across the board including lots of PRs and movement up the all-time list. You can find the full meet results here and keep reading for some highlights.

Parent Donations

As you can imagine, it takes a lot to put together a program of our size and we are asking for a $200 donation per family who is able to do so. This helps off set the cost of equiptment, travel, coaching stipends, meet entry fees, etc. Any donations are greatly appreciated, we also encourage you to find out about company matching programs that many businesses offer to further your impact. Find information to donate here. You can also write a check Payable to Del Norte High School. Write "Track" and your athletes name in the memo.

These athletes have made a great impact on our program, making themselves known as some of the best in their event since our school opened in 2009. We look forward to witnessing their continued success as the season goes on.

We really appreciate your help.

  • Seniors, if you would like to be included in our class of 2023 page on the website, please be sure to fill out the questionnaire so we can get your bio up.

Donate your used spikes to a Nighthawk in need!

  • If your athlete has spikes from last season that aren’t super torn up, they can use them again. If they are getting new spikes and don’t need their old ones, feel free to bring them to practice and we can share them with another nighthawk in need! Once your athlete gets their spikes, have them show their coach before wearing them at practice. We can help navigate each athletes needs.
